The gongfu show is one of the most recognisible elements of the performance team, along with the displays of hard qigong. Gongfu displays have been performed by the monks in their stage performances and DVD's, wowing audiences around the world. The displays by Shaolin Gongfu City students and instructors follows in that same mould.

The performances are of forms taken directly from the classes. This means it is often very easy for students to get involved with the performance and demonstrate their skills to a live audience.

The team have already taken part in many such events, including the 2006 Chinese New Year celebrations in London's Trafalgar Square (the biggest celebrations outside of Asia) where the students performed on centre stage in front of a live audience and numerous TV crews! There were an estimated 200,000 people watching the celebrations in London!
