The lion dance, like the dragon dance, is one of China's cultural traditions. At Shaolin Gongfu City, students get the opportunity to learn this ancient performance art which utilises many of the athletic skills of gongfu. Many students find a natural step to lion & dragon dance performance from their day-to-day training.

Students who learn the lion dance get to perform with the school at various events throughout the country. Tuition is provided for the performance, and is not part of the regular training curriculum.
