Shaolin Gongfu City is proud to teach the complete Shaolin cirriculum, including Taiji and Qigong - arguably the highest discipline of Shaolin. The art of Taiji is inseperable to Qigong, and vice versa. Taiji, in its combination with Qigong, teaches martial technique, physical health and spiritual health. It is the foundation and pinnicle of Shaolin study, and the route to mastering the arts of Shaolin. The art of Taiji is commonly referred to as an 'internal' or 'soft' martial art. Because of that, the class is ideal for all ages, fitness levels and martial backgrounds. The class is generally more gentle and relaxed, making it perfect for all your personal objectives, from easing the pain of tired bones to harnessing the inner power of the most healthy and athletic body. Taiji and Qigong make no distinction of ability and fitness. Your level of expertise is part of your personal path, and as such each individual may have a different objective. The classes generally comprise of experienced gongfu students seeking to take their skills to the next level, to young children seeking to master all the skills of the Shaolin arts, to older people merely seeking to improve their health - the class suits all. |
